First of all, many People post about inappropriate or upsetting content. This can be a bad influence on the mind, especially in children. Also, social media is a centre for cyberbullying, which is a horrible thing indeed. If anyone leaves a cruel or upsetting content, report and block them ASAP.
Another thing about social media is that it is a place riddled with misinformation and disinformation. Misinformation is innocently a mistake, whereas disinformation is on purpose.
Also, if you want to stay safe online, never show your face and give away as little information as possible.
